About me:

I have been an aviation enthusiast since I was two years old, which
is probably the result of growing up in North Park beneath the approach
path to Lindbergh Field. At 17, I earned my private pilot certificate
and decided to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in
Daytona Beach, Florida. By majoring in Aeronautical Science, I hoped to translate
my interest in aviation into a career as a pilot.
In the fall of 2002, I completed an internship with Continental Airlines,
during which I logged 26 hours of MD-80 simulator time and traveled
around the world on Continental's jump seats. Following
the internship, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Embry-Riddle with a
4.0 grade point average.
I fly with Plus One Flyers and Golden Wings Flying Club at Montgomery Field. I also help teach the San Diego
Aerospace Museum's private pilot ground school.
